Freelance REF (Research Excellence Framework) Impact Writer

WHO ARE WE

We are a consultancy service, offering support for research impact throughout the project lifecycle. Our impact support services comprises of:

  • Dissemination through print, web, video & infographics.
  • Engagement, including policy engagement, business engagement and public engagement
  • Impact evaluation, including evidence gathering, questionnaires, focus groups and evaluation reports
  • Impact writing services for case studies and pathways to impact. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • Understanding of the guidelines for the Research Excellence Framework 2021 relating to impact case studies (mandatory)
  • Previous experience of supporting the development of impact case studies for the Research Excellence Framework (mandatory)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Write, edit and deliver draft case studies
  • Assess the strength of case studies and provide an estimated score
  • Deliver a score for each case study and a breakdown of the reasons for the score
