Digital Account Manager (Full Time; Work from home)

As a Digital Account Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the execution of a variety of digital medical communication projects and working collaboratively with the Senior Director, Digital Strategy and project team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budgets and meet client expectations.

Your Main Responsibilities will include:


Digital Project Management:

  • Serve as the client’s daily point of contact for all digital projects
  • Maintain client satisfaction by ensuring that expectations, milestones, timelines, and status updates are effectively and swiftly communicated
  • Help advise on digital strategy and best practices and field client and internal team’s questions and concerns
  • Oversee the execution of the full project lifecycle for digital projects including publication dissemination, website development, social media dissemination, etc
  • Assist in establishing project budgets, plans/briefs, and SOWs
  • Support account management/new business development functions in receiving client input and approval for the project plan, budget, and timelines
  • Demonstrate a solid foundational knowledge of digital solutions; Coordinate and act as the digital point person in project meetings with clients, internal teams, and vendors to discuss digital offerings and identify innovative and creative digital solutions
  • Capture comprehensive and precise meeting notes and debrief on projects


Delivering a well-executed program:

  • Confidently able to build strong relationships with our clients based on our track record of delivering with excellence
  • Interface with clients and other key stakeholders to effectively communicate internal team’s questions, updates, and recommendations, as needed, to ensure project execution and delivery is in line with commitments and expectations and resolve any issues
  • Anticipate problems, proactively consults with Scientific/Account Management teams in identifying potential issues
  • Build strong relationships with vendors; includes freelancers and vendor partners
  • Identify areas for improvement with regard to processes and make recommendations to streamline and improve efficiency, as needed



  • B. Comm / B.A./ BSc
  • At least 5 years of client-facing experience as a digital account manager or managing digital project portfolios (preferably in the medical affairs space)
  • Knowledge of the global pharmaceutical industry and related compliance and regulatory challenges
  • Working knowledge and understanding of digital trends, channels, and solutions
  • Strong organizational skills; set priorities to meet operational deadlines; juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office applications, an expert in Excel
  • Experience with Project Management systems
  • Knowledge of and ability to research and learn about the medical specialties of our clients
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Passion for working in a team environment coupled with strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional and global teams
